SECTION 1 - Definitions

Cookies: The term "cookie" in the sense of this management policy is understood in the sense given in Recital No. 66 of Directive 2009/136/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2009 amending Directive 2002/22/EC on universal service and users' rights relating to electronic communications networks and services, Directive 2002/58/EC concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector and Regulation (EC) No. 2006/2004 on cooperation between national authorities responsible for the enforcement of consumer protection laws (OJ L.O., L 337, 18 December 2009). These are, for example, tracers deposited and/or read during the consultation of an Internet site that allow the user's navigation preferences to be retained.

Applicable Legislation: the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, the Law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the Law of 13 June2005 on electronic communications and any implementing measure for these provisions or any other legally binding text replacing these legal instruments.

Computer: a computer with a workstation, a laptop, a tablet, a two-in-one computer, a smartphone and any other computing device with physical storage capacity.

SECTION 2 - Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to inform the users of the Website of the way in which Cookies are used by the Responsible. This policy is part of the Manager's desire to act transparently and in compliance with Applicable Law.

SECTION 3 - Purpose of the deposit of Cookies on the Computer

The Website uses Cookies to make navigation more useful and reliable. Some of these cookies are necessary for the operation of the Website, while others are used to improve the user experience. Most Internet browsers are configured to accept Cookies automatically. If the user wishes to customize their management, he/she must modify the settings of his/her browser. Further information on this subject can be found in the "Cookie Management" section of this provision. By allowing the deposit of Cookies via the pop-up window inviting him/her to accept or refuse it and communicating a link to this policy, the user expressly agrees with the management of Cookies described below. The user is irrevocably assumed to have read this policy by accepting the deposit of Cookies on his/her Computer.

SECTION 4 - Types of Cookies that may be deposited when using the Website

The Website uses different types of Cookies:

- Essential or technical Cookies: these are Cookies that are essential for the operation of the Website, allowing good communication and intended to facilitate browsing;
- Statistical or analytical Cookies: these Cookies make it possible to recognize and count the number of visitors and to see their browsing behavior when they visit the Website. This helps to improve the user's browsing experience and makes it easier for the user to find what he or she is looking for;
- Functional Cookies: these Cookies enable specific functionalities on the Website to be activated in order to improve the user's usability and experience, in particular by remembering the user's choice of preferences (e.g. language);
- Performance Cookies: these Cookies collect information about the way visitors use the Website. They make it possible to evaluate and improve the content and performance of the Website (for example by counting the number of visitors, identifying the most popular pages or clicks), and to better match commercial proposals to the user's personal preferences;
- Advertising or commercial cookies: these are files designed to collect data relating to the profile of visitors and may be installed or read by third parties with whom the Manager collaborates in order to measure the effectiveness of an advertisement or a web page and to better adapt it to the user's interests;
- Tracking Cookies: the Website uses tracking Cookies via Google Analytics, with the aim of helping the Manager to measure the ways in which users interact with the content of the Website, and which generates visit statistics in a strictly anonymous manner. These statistics allow us to continuously improve the Website and to offer the user relevant content.

The Manager uses Google Analytics to gain an overview of the traffic on the Website, the origin of this traffic and the pages visited. This means that Google acts as a subcontractor. The information collected by Google Analytics is generated as anonymously as possible. For example, it is not possible to identify the persons visiting the Website. The Manager may also use cookies and tags to collect information about users' surfing habits on the various websites and applications belonging to its advertising network. A beacon is an invisible image file that tracks the user's browsing on one or more websites and/or applications. In addition, other Commercial Cookies may be installed by advertisers when they serve their ads. Commercial cookies do not contain any personal data. The information collected with the help of commercial Cookies and beacons is used to measure the effectiveness of advertising and to better personalize the advertising on the Website and on other websites belonging to the advertising network or for which the Responsible Party provides advertising services. 

SECTION 5 - Retention Period for Cookies

The retention period of Cookies varies according to their type: essential Cookies are generally kept until the browser is closed, while functional Cookies remain valid for 1 year and performance Cookies for 4 years.

SECTION 6 - Relationship to Third Parties

The Responsible Entity authorizes public search engines to visit the Website via 'spiders' with the sole purpose of making access and content of the Website available via their search engines, without the Responsible Entity granting the right to archive the Website. The Manager reserves the right to withdraw the authorization as formulated in this article at any time. In order to make offers that may be of interest to the user, the Manager may enter into agreements with advertising agencies on the Internet. They have received permission from the Controller to place advertisements on the Website. When the user visits the Website, the advertising companies may also collect information.

SECTION 7 - Management of Cookies by the User

Most browsers are set to automatically accept Cookies, but all allow the user to customize the settings according to their preferences. If the user does not want the Website to place Cookies on their computer/mobile device, they can easily manage or delete them by changing their browser settings. The user can also set his browser to notify him when he receives a cookie and thus decide whether or not to accept it. In the event that the user deactivates certain Cookies, it is possible that certain parts of the Website may not be consultable and/or usable, or that they may only be partially so. In this respect, the Responsible Party declines all responsibility for the unavailability of the Website for the user or for any disruption in the consultation of the Website.

SECTION 8 - Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This policy is governed exclusively by Belgian law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of this policy will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Brussels.

SECTION 9 - Miscellaneous Provisions
